How BLUE Are You in The Way You Feel, Think, Communicate and Act?

In my previous posts we explore about: How colorful are we in the way we feel, think, communicate and act?

In order to do that, we need to learn the meaning of the colors and observe the way we are using them today.

As SKY BLUE, we use BLUE color a lot at our workplaces. Let’s found that why…

The BLUE color is related to loyalty, integrity, calm, trust, inner security and confidence to the task at hand. This is why we commonly see it in business communications and we do a good use of it.

But there are other meanings of the BLUE color.

BLUE color is also related to the capability of envision the future, our intuition and our imagination. So those concepts that we don’t currently use at work, are the ones I will focus on.

Are we allow to use intuition at work? Or do we always need to justify every single action through data?

Do you have spaces at work to spark your imagination or envision the future? Do we have time to dream at work?

When I said imagine and dream at work, I am not talking about dreaming with the beach. I am challenge you to do it when designing a client or team member’s experience.

Being connected with your imagination can bring unique experiences to your clients/team members, there is no imagination equal to another, so it is also a source of creativity.

Being connected with your intuition can give you the right word for a person you have in front more than what you are supposed to say.

Being connected with your intuition and your imagination capabilities can bring a lot of value at workplaces.

So How can we create BLUE Spaces at work? These are just some ideas…

IMAGINE BLUE MEETING: Design thinking have some ideas around this, the user experiences maps imagine how a client walks the experience of your service or product. But even if you don’t use it, you can invite your teams to close their eyes and image/dream the experience your clients are having with your product

BLUE TIME: before a client meeting or one with your team member/s, you are invited to imagine the experience they can have with you

BLUE QUIET TIME: create an space for calming the mind through meditation for the team to recharge

So let’s go down in the road, What is a BLUE Leader?

A BLUE Leader is the one who represents all the meanings of SKY BLUE. It is the one who:

  • Builds trust through the messages
